The Training You Need

As a KES substitute, you’ll complete orientation and training sessions before hitting the classroom. This will include school-specific training so you know exactly what to expect, and what’s expected of you.

You’ll get the tools of the trade…free!

You’ll receive a free training handbook developed by Kelly and Utah State University’s (USU) Substitute Teaching Institute. This handbook contains proven teaching methods and tips on everything from managing the classroom to motivating and rewarding students.

Kelly and USU have also developed multimedia training courses to provide all the instruction you need to succeed. Train from our office or from the comfort of your own home!
