Substitute of the Semester Fall 2009

Each semester, Kelly Educational Staffing managers have the opportunity to nominate one substitute teacher for this honor based on his/her performance and recommendations from school personnel.

We are pleased to recognize Dan Slone as Substitute of the Semester for Fall, 2009. He will receive gift certificates and become eligible for Kelly’s national Substitute Teacher of the Year honor at the end of the school year.

Dan received this honor based on his hard work at Cherokee Middle School. The principal at Cherokee had this to say about Dan: "When we had a teacher hospitalized the weekend before school started, Dan was highly recommended. He came in the Monday before school started and worked with us for four weeks. The students and staff loved working with Mr. Slone. He is very professional, works hard, and will make an excellent classroom teacher when given the opportunity."
