Substitute of the Month Feb 09

Please join us in congratulating Kerry McNichols for winning Substitute of the Month for February!

Kerry was nominated by the Principal at Sunshine Elementary, and this is what she had to say about Kerry's performance:

"Kerry has been subbing at Sunshine as my secretary.  She stepped in with a positive and friendly attitude even though she did not have the training required for secretaries.  She has been a "go getter" in figuring out how to do attendance, financials, and the reports necessary for our school.  Every day has been a learning experience for her that she willingly engages in.  She is capable of noticing what needs to be done and complete the task before I ask her to.  She has learned most of the students' names in the short time that she has been with us.  Even though the Sunshine Community loves our regular secretary, Kerry has won their trust and respect.  I would not have been able to make it through my secretary's absence without Kerry.  She has allowed me to focus on the jobs that I need to do and not worry about the daily tasks of a secretary.   I just wish that I could have two secretaries and keep her when mine returns."
