Please join Kelly Educational Staffing in congratulating our Substitutes of the Month for December 2008 - Mary Fuller and Kala Ady.
| "Mary is an outstanding asset to Study Middle School. She gives so much more to our building than just substitute teaching. She helps with after school programs, helps run concession stands at basketball games and serves as a cheerleader for our students. In the classroom, teachers know she will take care of the students AND teach the curriculum. She has made such a difference in the lives of our students. She gives her heart and soul to each teaching job like it is her mission and not just a job. I am glad to get to work with her."---Teresa Young, Librarian, Study Middle School | Kala Ady was nominated not only by several staff members, but also by her students. Kala worked a long term assignment at Jeffries Elementary. As a result of the class learning more about "honesty" through the Character Education program, we received several recommendations to recognize Kala and all she does for "her" kids. Here's what a few of them had to say: "Mrs. Ady is very honest. If someone does something wrong, she helps them by talking about how to solve the conflict instead of getting mad." "Mrs. Ady is like a grandmother to me. I can talk to her about anything." "Mrs. Ady is very honest. She deserves this because she tells the truth if she makes a mistake." Additionally, the principal and many teachers nominated Kala for being a positive role model, going beyond the call of duty and always promoting a favorable learning environment for the kids. |
